OUR WHOLE FAMILY IS PASSIONATE ABOUT...
The name 'Kingsplay' comes from King's Play Hill, a 29.5 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest situated in the parish of Heddington, Wiltshire, where our Wagyu cattle can be found contentedly grazing the downland during the spring, summer and autumn months.
Our family have been custodians of this precious heritage asset since 1934, when Walter Stuart Tyler took on the tenancy at Church Farm, Heddington. Stuart was joined by his son, David, who was later joined by his son, Nick.
Over the years, the farming business has grown and now includes dairy, beef and arable enterprises, which are managed by Nick with the help of his wife, Lucy. Nick and Lucy have two sons, who they hope may one day become the fourth generation of the Tyler family to farm in Heddington.
Kingsplay Wagyu is an exciting new venture aimed at producing top quality Wagyu beef sustainably, and to the highest standards of animal health and welfare, for everyone to enjoy. The driving force behind the venture is the whole family's passion for food and their desire to produce the best beef they possibly can.
